I love stories that bite into how innovation affects humanity and especially when megacorporations are put in their place. Ad Lucem was not what I expected. In an atypical sense, it delved more into human connection and the concept of Organic Intelligence rather than Artificial Intelligence, leaving room for a rather unique sci-fi plot. It was really more about the psychological impressions and scars such technology leaves on daily life, and in that regard Ad Lucem proved to be another great cautionary tale. The ending neatly wrapped up what was needed but I still felt a little more could've been added. Still, highly recommend this to all psychological/sci-fi fans.
