Grand Tales & World Building & Bardic FishingOne thing i liked about this podcast is that starting off there was a solid amount of world building to set up the scene. This allowed the listener to watch as the world unfolded before their eyes/ears to have them more connected to the story and people who were in said story. I felt like it was an even say with all three who participated and they built off what each one was offering, which is much like the story they tell further in. The players and DM all seem to have good chemistry and work well together, bouncing ideas off one another and enjoying the ride. There is some audio issues early on but you can hear as they progress that they are quickly picking up on new editing skills, cleaning up the audio, and improving the show. They even have mentioned about going back and remastering which is a great sign that they really love what they are doing and want to make it great for you the listener. The players and DM alike both have no problems gliding from goof to serious moment and every episode there is something interesting afoot whether they are delving deeper into the lore of the world or they are uncovering the mysteries of the land they are traveling through. If you're looking for a great classic feel of being at the table with friends during a great session of D&D then i recommend you give this a listen right away!
