Ahh, yes the DJ/Artist Bio section - I really hate these things, but here goes:When not sharing fresh cut sashimi with malnourished kittens (fluffy ones with big round eyes), you can find this burly beefcake wresting unicorns in his glorious pink & brown luchador attire – it’s not a pretty sight, let me tell you. It’s well advised that you try and catch him on one his better days when he’s attempting to weave together a beautiful deep melodic set on the shores of a lovely tropical island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.Ramyt's diligent work ethic and painstaking labors can be credited with having helped advance electronic dance music throughout the islands, opening avenues for artistic expression for others. Along the journey, Ramyt has played an integral role in kick-starting and running 2 clubs in Honolulu: The Living Room and Lotus Soundbar (which won “best sound system” by Club World Awards). He’s also been a partner in creating the much-revered 5520 Ultralounge at the St. Regis Princeville Resort on the beautiful island of Kauai and played a key role in importing some notable acts to Next Door in Honolulu's trendy chinatown club & bar scene. His most recent venture lent him the opportunity to consult another Honolulu club, eleven44, in their DJ booth design and sound system installation, which is arguably one of the top club systems in Hawaii.His exploits as a DJ and ventures as an organizer of chic upscale events have helped him secure headlining sets for top end establishments such as Salvatore Ferragamo, DKNY, Emporio Armani, Luxury Row Waikiki (Tiffany & Co, Chanel, YSL, Gucci), Nobu and Morimoto Waikiki. Ramyt has also had the honor of opening for and playing alongside world class DJ’s such as John Digweed, Sasha, Danny Howells, DJ Tennis, Jimmy Van M, Lee Burridge, BT, Behrouz, Satoshi Tomiie, Dubfire, Dimitri from Paris, Kaskade, Ko Kimura, Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt, Mark Farina, Low End Specialists, Little Louie Vega, and Moshic just to name a few. Ramyt's accolades as a dj and praises as a promoter, known for creating amazing vibes and parties, have also lent him the opportunity to be featured in the first issue of the Modern Luxury Hawaii magazine as well as the internationally distributed BPM Mag.In fall of 2012 Ramyt was invited to join Faciendo, an international collective of DJ's lead by Desyn Masiello, Tom Morgan, BalErik, Dory and Nick DK. A few months later he was also invited to be head resident DJ for the house music nights at The Republik, where he re-united with his longtime friend Jimmy Lee to create Foundation.Ramyt has an ability to create a beautiful, lush energy and vibe at the most upscale ultralounge - to the simplest settings, on the edge of a cliff party with the backdrop of the picturesque Makapuu Bay. His passion for the music and dedication to creating an inspiring, classy atmosphere through his melodies have helped him gain admiration as one of the more respected characters in Hawaii’s ever-growing electronic music society.
