ETA: I'm disappointed this podcast moved to Spotify. Listeners can still access it on the Spotify web site for free, but I doubt I will remember to check there regularly for new episodes. Chances are better that this one will just fall off my list. :-(----------This podcast is healing. To be completely honest, I hate to love it, because the topic of emotions is uncomfortable almost by definition, and I'd rather just skip it every time an episode comes up in my queue. But I almost always feel better after, and I have to admit that this podcast has had an overall positive effect on my life, which is more than I can say for most podcasts (which are just fun). Spending a little time every week thinking about these things is worth it, and I have come away from the best episodes not just with a better perspective, but also with some practical tools for tackling problems. That being said, there are *many* dud episodes in this podcast. The guest format only seems to work when the guest has some expertise in emotions. Bringing on authors, actors, TV personalities, and podcast superstars have resulted in some of the weakest episodes, and those are completely skippable.
