Easily my favorite podcast. It’s smart, it’s calming and I guarantee you will learn something. Moxie’s style and delivery are second to none. I couldn’t make a higher recommendation, if you have a pulse, you’ll love it

The first time I heard “Your Brain on Facts,” which was several months ago, I thought, “Too many superlatives. She’s writing her own reviews.”I was wrong. I apologize. Moxie, please forgive me. Let me know if sackcloth and ashes are necessary. All the reviews are justified and completely legit.I love the eclectic choices of topics, the segues, the “What the heck?” moments, but I especially love the parenthetical comments (“I would ask what the hell is wrong with David Lee Roth, but you didn’t sign on for a three-hour show”) and pop culture references (“like having DeeDee running Dexter’s Lab”).Start listening to this podcast. You will find nuggets in every episode to enjoy, and occasionally an episode will be all about that thing that you are all about.And that’s where I run out of superlatives, at least for today.

One of my favorite podcasts, I look forward to each weeks new episode. The content is well researched and presented in Moxie's amazing voice, take my word and give it a listen just on that merit alone. Also she introduces you to other podcasters thru guest presenter spots, I have found several new shows to listen to courtesy of YBOF. Check it out, you will be surprised how much you learn.

Phenomenal podcast! not just obscure random facts but more of a deep dive into everyday topics that are actually interesting. Moxie is a superstar with hilarious quips and dreamy out of this world voice. Your life and world will be improved by listening to this podcast.

This podcast is chock-full of fascinating trivia like the best parts of rocky road ice cream! Moxie's voice is smooth and expressive, and she always sounds like she's having as much fun sharing the information as I have when listening. Even when she covers a topic I'm pretty familiar with, she always manages to surprise me.

Miss Moxie has a smooth voice, excellent transitions, a wonderful sense of humor and excellent topics discussed on the podcast. What more can you ask for except for more? Perhaps the back log? This pod has a pretty extensive one at over 100 episodes! I have been a pretty loyal listener for a few months, and it’s always the first thing I listen to when it drops. And the book is pretty spot on as well!

I have been listening for two days and I felt the need to share. I love Moxie's vibrant personality and how she presents the facts in a fun and uplifting way, even when the topic is super heavy. I had a small freak out over episode 188 (Tax & Taxonomy) while going over the tomato bit because I had Googled tomatoes independent of the podcast like three days after the episode aired, so I took the synchronicity at face value and will be listening to Moxie until she stops making episodes.

Whether it's as a Wednesday morning pep-talk on the ride to work, the salve for the Friday afternoon ride home or just motivation to get in a few more KMs on a workout. YBOF and Moxie never fails to perfect cycling companion. With a fantastic mix of humour, esoteric knowledge and a smooth sultry delivery that keeps me wanting just one more episode, this is one of the best pod casts I have even had the privileged of listening to.

Long time listener, just took a while to get around to leaving a review. Moxie is the best and this is one of the only Podcast I listen to repeatedly. Not going to lie most of the time it's to help me get to sleep. Her voice is soothing and the facts help clear my head to get me too sleep. Then I'll wake up and usually listen too them on my way into work. Might be why I have about 10,000 listening hours.... Oops?

Did not know I was a trivia buff until this podcast!

Been listening to this podcast for about a month now and have really enjoyed it. I like that the facts follow a bit of stream of consciousness in how they're presented so it never feels like a slog through a topic that might not always strike my fancy. Moxie's voice, of course I have to mention her voice, is mellifluous. Normally I get bored with shows with a single host but she mixes it up with other voices to read quotes or uses audio effects on her own voice to break up that monotony. I appreciate that the facts are well researched and don't come off as a BuzzFeed or Mental Floss "10 things you'll never believe..." type faux research. The facts are weird and wonderful!

YBOF has been an utterly and uniquely bingeworthy experience. In fact it is the only podcast I listen to, and not for lack of trying. Moxie is like a skilled tour guide leading one through a museum to some obscure and fascinating topic each episode. Her topics are researched well, have a wonderful subtle humor, and are spoken with a voice that is easy to listen to, which she is quick to give credit to her mother for. Definitely worth a listen for anyone who loves trivia.

Moxie covers an array of interesting topics with a touch of humor masterfully. She keeps me interested and always wanting more. I have listened to every episode.
