Growing up my grandmother would take me to the library in the town where I grew up every weekend. One fateful day, I ventured out of the children's room and headed up the massive Victorian staircase to the upstairs. I was awestruck by the 3-level open space, surrounded with balconies filled with books. In one cornered I wandered up to the very top level and found a dark and dusty corner room. It was filled floor to ceiling with records, which I had never seen before. I checked out "Lights Out: Murder Castle", a vintage radio horror. So began a lifelong love of the kind of audio wizardry that could be cooked up with sound long, long before television. It required an active imagination, and it cultivated it in turn.Podcasting today has given new life to this vintage auditory art form, with groundbreaking shows such as "The NoSleep Podcast", "Limetown" and "The Black Tapes" being modern versions of classic radio drama. With this podcast, 3 of my great loves have come together into some kind of mutated concoction of sound. My hope is to see more Fallout fans getting creative, sharing their passion and building on this amazing universe.PART OF THE ROBOTS RADIO NETWORKhttps://www.robotsradio.net/ Hosted on Acast. An episodic adventure story for humans of all ages! In the beginning everyone was nice. But over time, so slowly that no one could say when, or how, or why it started, the Fairies and the Ponies got...mean. Beatrice knew this because, although she couldn’t prove it yet, she knew that the Fairies and Ponies had stolen her egg. And stealing a dragon’s egg, in Beatrice’s opinion, was going too far. But to confront them she would need the help of a Knight. Produced by Dirt Road Theater in Northfield, VT, FADPAK was created by Gracelyn, Oliver and Dominic Spillane. It is edited and performed by Maren Langdon Spillane, and features original music by Nathan Leigh. Each episode is broadcast live to a virtual audience on Zoom and features a special guest artist whose illustration will come to life during the performance. The podcast will be released one week after the live performance. Website link - dirtroadtheater.com/fadpak

Through deep research and high-strangeness storytelling, three brothers explore paranormal encounters and unexplained events. Collecting freaky listener stories and scouring the dusty pages of classic Fortean texts, the brothers use high-production sound design to set the scene for alleged real encounters with, Dogman, Poltergeists, Bigfoot, Fairy Folk, Humanoids, UFOs, Shadow People, and Sky Creatures.. just to name a few.Attempting to parse out the facts within folklore, the brothers of the Hole banter about everything from bizarre historical mysteries to emerging clandestine conspiracy theories, often challenging their own beliefs and sometimes each other's sanity. Good humor, good drinks, and good discussion! Have you ever overheard a co-worker shakily tell his story of a real encounter with a Dogman? Has your friend or weird uncle told you about his close encounter with a reptilian humanoid from the sewer? Looking to corroborate your grandma's true ghost stories? Were you born with a thirst for the mysterious? Well, sit back and pour yourself a big glass from the Belief Hole, my friend, and help us dig the weird!
